Wolfchild, released for the Sega CD in 1993, is an action platformer game developed by Core Design. The game follows the story of a young man named Saul who, after the abduction of his father by the evil Chimera organization, transforms into a wolf-like super soldier using his father's invention. As Saul, players navigate through various levels, battling Chimera's minions and utilizing both human and wolf forms, each with unique abilities, to avenge his father's kidnapping. Wolfchild was also known for utilizing the Sega CD's capabilities to enhance its audio and visual presentation beyond what was typical for cartridge-based games of that time.
