Originally known as 'Astro Flash' in Japan, Transbot is an action-packed shoot 'em up game for the Sega Master System, first released in 1985. Players control a transforming robot vehicle that shoots through waves of robotic enemies across different levels. As an early example of the side-scrolling shooter genre, its simple mechanics and challenging gameplay are characteristic of the era's arcade influence on home console games.
