Superman, also known as Superman: The Game, is a video game released for the Atari 2600 in 1979. It belongs to the action-adventure genre and was one of the first superhero video games. Players control Superman, who must repair the bridge destroyed by Lex Luthor, capture criminals and return them to jail, and retrieve his alter-ego Clark Kent's stolen clothes, all while navigating Metropolis and contending with a time limit.
