Published by THQ and developed by Big Sky Interactive, it is based on the popular animated television show SpongeBob SquarePants. The game allows players to step into SpongeBob's iconic square pants and explore a 3D world filled with fun, challenges and familiar characters from Bikini Bottom. When SpongeBob accidentally releases the vengeful ghost pirate, the Flying Dutchman, SpongeBob must stop his evil plan to take over the undersea world. Game-play includes puzzle-solving, fighting enemies and platform sequences.
