Shinobi - NES

Shinobi is an action-adventure game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Originally developed and published by Sega in 1987, it takes players back to a mystic and profoundly oriental atmosphere. Set in a world of ninjitsu warfare, the player controls a modern-day ninja named Joe Musashi who goes on a mission to rescue his kidnapped students from a group of criminals. With skills in hand-to-hand combat, and specialized weapons such as shuriken and katana, players must strategically navigate their way through engaging levels and defeat difficult bosses. The game combines elements of stealth, platforming and combat to create an engaging experience.
