Salt and Sanctuary is a 2D action role-playing video game developed and published by Ska Studios. The game was released for the PlayStation 4 in 2016, before being ported to other platforms later on. The Collector's Edition includes additional content such as a soundtrack CD, world map, and possibly other collectible items. It combines fast, brutal, and complex combat with richly detailed, hand-drawn animation. As a shipwrecked sailor stranded on a mysterious island, players must navigate a treacherous and interconnected world, battling monstrous creatures and lethal bosses, while also amassing skills, weaponry, and armor in their quest for survival and escape.
