Rastan, originally released in 1987 for the arcade by Taito and later ported to the Commodore 64, is a classic hack-and-slash platform game. Players take on the role of Rastan, a barbarian hero tasked with slaying a dragon and saving the land from evil. Wielding a sword and other weapons found throughout the levels, you traverse various fantasy environments battling monsters and overcoming obstacles. The Commodore 64 version retains the essential elements of the arcade but is adapted to fit the home computer's hardware capabilities.
