Pokémon HeartGold Version is a role-playing game (RPG) for the Nintendo DS, a remastered edition of the 1999 Pokémon Gold. Players embark on a journey as a Pokémon trainer, capturing and training creatures called Pokémon to battle others while thwarting the nefarious plans of Team Rocket. The game features enhanced graphics, a touch-screen interface, and a pedometer accessory called the Pokéwalker for transferring Pokémon between the game and device to gain experience. It maintains the classic mechanics of battling, collecting, and trading with updated content.
