Nightshade - PS2

Nightshade for Sony PS2 Playstation 2 is an action-adventure game set in a fictionalized version of Tokyo. This third-person hack-and-slash game is a sequel to Shinobi and shares its high-speed gameplay and focus on acrobatics. Players control Hibana, a female government ninja tasked with eliminating a renegade ninja clan. The game combines strategic fighting techniques, high-tech weaponry, and magical Ninja powers (Ninpo). The style is dark and brooding, and introduction to various enemy types requires strategic planning. Nightshade also includes throwback bonus levels from old Shinobi games.
