Mystic Defender (Rev. 01) is an action platformer game for the Sega Genesis, known in Japan as Kujaku Ou 2: Geneijou. Released in 1989, it's the sequel to SpellCaster and is based on the anime series Peacock King. Players assume the role of Joe Yamato, a sorcerer who battles his way through various levels using magic and combat skills to rescue Alexandra from the evil Zareth.
