The Last Blade, originally known as Bakumatsu Roman: Gekka no Kenshi in Japan, is a fighting video game developed by SNK. Although it is more widely recognized for its release on the Neo Geo systems, it was indeed available for the Neo Geo Pocket Color as a scaled-down version. This fighting game is set during the Bakumatsu era of Japan and features a roster of samurai and other combatants wielding various weapons. The game is known for its beautiful sprite animation and strategic gameplay that emphasizes timing. The Neo Geo Pocket version was released in 2000 and provided a portable, albeit simplified, experience of the classic fighter.
