Gunsmoke for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) is a classic Arcade Action-Shooter video game adapted for home consoles by Capcom in 1988. Set in the Wild West, players assume the role of a bounty hunter named Billy Bob, who is on a mission to take out vicious criminals that plague the town. The game is primarily a vertical scrolling shooter and features distinct run-and-gun mechanics mixed with adventure elements. Players traverse through various levels, battling hordes of outlaws, while collecting power-ups & bounties and confronting boss characters at the end of each level.
