Guitar Hero World Tour, also known as Guitar Hero IV, is a music rhythm game developed by Neversoft and published by Activision in 2008. As part of the Guitar Hero series, this installment enables players to simulate the playing of rock music using peripherals modeled after musical instruments. Players can play the lead guitar, bass guitar, drums, and sing vocals using the game's respective instruments. The game's setlist includes a wide variety of music genres, allowing players to experience different rock styles.
