Gauntlet - NES

Gauntlet is an action-adventure RPG for the Nintendo NES. Originally released in 1985, it's a renowned multiplayer dungeon crawler designed by Atari Games. It features the choice from four characters: Thor the warrior, Thyra the valkyrie, Merlin the wizard, and Questor the elf. Each character has unique strengths and weaknesses which adds variety to gameplay. Gameplay consists of navigating through various mazes, combating a multitude of monsters, and searching for keys to advance to the next level. The game is also popular for its cooperative multiplayer mode where up to four players can participate simultaneously, each controlling a different character. It's highly regarded for its combination of strategy and action.
