Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves, known as Garou: Mark of the Wolves in Japan, is a 2D fighting game released by SNK for the Neo Geo in 1999. It was later ported to the Dreamcast among other platforms. As the eighth installment in the Fatal Fury series, the game set a new standard with its fluid animation and in-depth fighting mechanics. It introduces the Tactical Offensive Position (T.O.P.) system and Just Defended mechanic that rewards precision and timing. The Dreamcast version, known for its faithful arcade conversion and additional features, has become a classic within the genre, preserving the series' traditional feel while refreshing it for a modern audience.
