Released in 1987, Double Dragon is a classic beat 'em up video game developed by Technōs Japan originally for arcades and later adapted for various home systems, including the Commodore 64. The game follows the story of two brothers, Billy and Jimmy Lee, as they fight against the Black Warriors gang to rescue Marian. With its cooperative gameplay, players control the brothers and navigate through urban environments, engaging in hand-to-hand combat with a variety of enemies. Despite technical limitations, the Commodore 64 version managed to capture the essence of the arcade experience.
