Battletoads - Genesis

Released in 1991, 'Battletoads' is a cult classic beat 'em up/platformer video game that garnered attention for its extreme difficulty and two-player cooperative mode. Originally developed by Rare and published by Tradewest, it first launched on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The Sega Genesis version known for its smoother graphics and sound was released shortly after. Players take control of toad characters with distinctive personalities and abilities, embarking on a mission to defeat the evil Dark Queen and rescue their kidnapped friends.
