World Karate Championship, also known as International Karate, is a fighting video game released for the Commodore 64 system in 1986. Created by System 3 and developed by Archer MacLean, the game is known for its addictive gameplay and was one of the earliest martial arts simulation games. It featured a tournament style of play, where players could compete against a series of opponents or another player in head-to-head combat, performed against the backdrop of various international landmarks. Players executed punches, kicks, and blocks to defeat their opponent, striving to earn a higher belt color.
