Smash TV is a top-down, dual-stick shooter game originally developed by Midway Games and subsequently ported to Nintendo's NES in 1990. Set in a dystopian future, the game allows one or two players to compete in a violent game show called Smash TV, in which they must battle through rooms filled with enemies to win fabulous prizes. The gameplay involves moving and shooting in any direction while collecting power-ups, extra lives, and score multipliers.
