Resident Evil: Deadly Silence is a survival horror video game released for the Nintendo DS in 2006. It is a remake of the original Resident Evil game that appeared on the PlayStation in 1996. This version includes both the original game and a 'Rebirth' mode containing a number of new features specifically designed for the DS, such as touchscreen puzzles and microphone-based gameplay. The core storyline remains intact, following the S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team as they investigate the mysterious Spencer Mansion, fight zombies, and uncover the sinister activities of the Umbrella Corporation.
