Metal Gear Survive is a survival action-adventure game developed and published by Konami, released for the PS4 in 2018. It diverges from the traditional stealth mechanics of the main Metal Gear series, offering a cooperative multiplayer experience with a focus on crafting, survival, and base defense in a hostile, alternate universe. Players gather resources, battle zombie-like creatures, and work together to overcome challenges. While part of the Metal Gear series, it notably does not involve series creator Hideo Kojima.
