Golden Axe II - Genesis

Golden Axe II, released in 1991, is a side-scrolling beat 'em up video game developed and published by SEGA for the Genesis/Mega Drive console. This sequel to the original Golden Axe continues the fantasy adventures as players choose one of the three warriors to fight against the dark forces led by the villain Dark Guld. Utilizing melee combat and magical abilities, players progress through various levels filled with enemies, culminating in boss battles. It retains the arcade-like action and co-operative gameplay features that were popular in the first title.
